About Maple Township

Maple Township is located in Cass County, Minnesota, with a population of approximately 500. It was named after the groves of sugar maple trees within its 36.6 total square miles. Providing a rural feel for the residents, Maple Township includes rolling farmland, scenic lakes and streams, colorful forests, and ample wildlife.

Rewards: Maple Township offers a $1,000 reward for leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone committing a misdemeanor/gross misdemeanor and a $2,000 reward for leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone committing a felony in Maple Township.
Cemeteries: The township contains Mayo Brook Cemetery-plots are $100 each. Click here to view plots.

Board Members

The Maple Township Board consists of 5 residents from Maple Township. Each Board Member serves a 3 year term.  

Monthly Board Meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Maple Town Hall. The meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend. If you would like to address the Board at a meeting, we ask that you contact our Clerk prior to the meeting to be put on the agenda.
